Market capitalization is sometimes abbreviated as m-cap.
It refers to the combined value of all of the company’s shares in Rupees.
So, if a company’s share price is Rs 20 and there are 3000 outstanding shares, the company’s m-cap is Rs 60,000 (20 X 3000).
When you learn of the world’s largest corporations, their market capitalization (m-cap) is used to categorize them.
