The term “sector” refers to a certain business or segment of the economy.

There may be many sectors, but the basic categories are generally accepted by most citizens.

The banking sector, auto sector, infrastructure sector, pharmaceutical sector, and so on are some of the most widely discussed fields.

There can be some sectors that overlap with other sectors.

The logistics sector, for example, comprises a small part of the auto sector. The real estate sector is also a portion of the infrastructure sector.
