5paisa charges ₹0 to open an account and a flat ₹20 per executed order on every segment, buy or sell: delivery, intraday, futures and options. The DP charge is ₹15.34 per scrip on a sell, MTF interest is 0.049% a day, and pledging or unpledging for margin costs ₹0.

The ₹20 is flat whatever the order size. For example, buying and selling ₹50,000 of a share costs ₹40 in brokerage. BTST trades cost ₹20 plus DP charges.
Taxes and exchange charges on 5paisa trades
These are charged on top of brokerage by the government and the exchanges. They are the same at every broker, apart from small differences in how brokers round and bill them.

5paisa charges: three worked examples
Each example adds up every charge on a round trip (buy and sell). The delivery and intraday examples buy and sell ₹1,00,000 of shares once each. The options example buys premium worth ₹50,000 and sells it for ₹60,000. Amounts are rounded to the nearest paisa and leave out tiny exchange investor-protection levies.

Two things stand out. A flat ₹20 means delivery costs ₹40 a round trip regardless of size, so STT is still the largest cost on a delivery trade. On a small options trade the flat fee is a large share of the total. Profit or loss on the trade itself is not included, and neither is income tax on gains.
