Dr Devendra’s AI Renko Indicator Review (2026): Tested Win Rate, Price & Worth It?
Verdict: Dr Devendra’s AI Renko Supertrend is a thoughtfully built adaptive trend system (Renko bricks + ATR-driven SuperTrend + ADX filter) from a credible educator — and we ran it on live charts ourselves (hands-on notes below). The headline 80% win rate remains Upsurge’s claim, not our measured number. At ₹2,499 for 3 months (₹4,998/6 months, delivered to your TradingView ID; a free 1-month plan exists for Dhan account holders), it suits rule-based intraday/swing traders who want fewer, cleaner signals. What it is
Dr Devendra’s AI Renko Supertrend is an adaptive trend-following TradingView indicator that combines Renko-style price construction with an ATR-based SuperTrend engine to generate BUY/SELL signals. Adaptive means it watches fast vs slow ATR (a volatility-regime read) and resizes Renko bricks and the SuperTrend factor accordingly — wider structure in volatile markets, tighter in calm ones. Four modules: adaptive brick size, optional ADX choppy filter, colour-changing trend line, and a trend cloud between price and the line.

How the logic works
Renko bricks, synthetic: price movement is re-built into bricks, filtering minor noise that whipsaws candlestick SuperTrends.
SuperTrend engine: classic ATR-trailing trend line over the Renko series; colour flip = regime change.
ADX gate (optional): signals fire only when ADX exceeds your threshold — the main false-signal defence.
Hands-on: our test notes
We ran the indicator on live charts ourselves. A full trade log with measured hit-rate numbers is coming; the verdict above reflects our live experience plus vendor disclosures. (September 2026.)

Who it’s for / not for
Good fit: intraday/scalping/swing traders on indices and F&O who miss trends with laggy indicators; TradingView-native traders; system-followers comfortable with losing signals. Skip if: you want guaranteed returns; you trade fundamentals/long-only portfolios; you won’t honour stop-losses — no indicator survives that.
Our testing so far is qualitative — no statistical sample yet
Do you need a Dhan demat account?
Not for access — the indicator is delivered to your TradingView ID and works standalone. The only Dhan link: the free 1-month plan is offered to Dhan account holders. No Dhan account yet? Open one free with our Dhan referral code DETA06.
FAQ
Is the 80% win rate real? It’s Upsurge’s claimed figure (6,002 subscribers shown, Sep 2026), not an independently audited backtest. We tested the indicator live ourselves but have not run a statistical sample — treat 80% as marketing.
Does it repaint? Renko-based SuperTrend signals can shift while a brick is forming; the ADX filter reduces but cannot eliminate this. Confirm behaviour on your timeframe before sizing up.
Intraday and swing both? Yes — vendor lists momentum, index, options-buying, scalping, swing and trend-following use cases.
What do I need to run it? A TradingView account (indicator is assigned to your TradingView ID) plus the paid plan — or the free month if you hold a Dhan demat account. No broker account is required for access.
How is this different from a free SuperTrend? Free SuperTrend uses fixed ATR settings on candles. This adapts brick size + factor to volatility regime and adds the ADX gate — that adaptivity is the paid edge, in theory.
Refund policy? Indicators are non-refundable under Upsurge’s Refund Policy (last updated 13 Nov 2025). Exceptions cover duplicate payments, unresolved platform-access failures and similar edge cases; the 7-day satisfaction guarantee applies to selected courses only, not indicators.
Ready to try it?
If rule-based trend signals fit your style, the 3-month plan — or the free Dhan-holder month — is the low-risk entry.
