Fyers brokerage charges by segment
| Segment | Brokerage per executed order |
|---|---|
| Equity delivery, ETFs and MTF | Lower of ₹20 or 0.3% |
| Equity intraday | Lower of ₹20 or 0.03% |

These are the standard plan rates. Fyers Prime (₹4,990 a year or ₹499 a month) lowers the per-order cap to ₹15. New accounts get zero brokerage for the first month. “Lower of ₹20 or 0.3%” means 0.3% of the order value when that is below ₹20 (orders under about ₹6,700) and ₹20 for anything larger.
Taxes and exchange charges on Fyers trades
These are charged on top of brokerage by the government and the exchanges. They are the same at every broker, apart from small differences in how brokers round and bill them.

Fyers charges: three worked examples
Each example adds up every charge on a round trip (buy and sell). The delivery and intraday examples buy and sell ₹1,00,000 of shares once each. The options example buys premium worth ₹50,000 and sells it for ₹60,000. Amounts are rounded to the nearest paisa and leave out tiny exchange investor-protection levies.
| Charge | Delivery (₹1,00,000 buy and sell) | Intraday (₹1,00,000 buy and sell) | Options (₹50,000 buy, ₹60,000 sell) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brokerage | ₹40.00 | ₹40.00 | ₹40.00 |
| STT | ₹200.00 | ₹25.00 | ₹90.00 |
| Exchange transaction charges | ₹6.14 | ₹6.14 | ₹39.08 |
| SEBI turnover fee | ₹0.20 | ₹0.20 | ₹0.11 |
| Stamp duty | ₹15.00 | ₹3.00 | ₹1.50 |
| GST | ₹8.34 | ₹8.34 | ₹14.25 |
| DP charge on the sell | ₹14.75 | ₹0.00 | ₹0.00 |
| Total charges | ₹284.43 | ₹82.68 | ₹184.95 |
| Total as % of turnover | 0.284% | 0.083% | 0.168% |
Two things stand out. STT is the largest cost on a delivery trade, larger than Fyers’ own brokerage. Active traders can compare the ₹20 standard plan with the ₹15 Prime plan, which only pays off at high order counts. Profit or loss on the trade itself is not included, and neither is income tax on gains.
