These examples add up brokerage, STT, exchange charges, SEBI fees, stamp duty, GST and the DP charge on a round trip (buy and sell). Delivery and intraday trades buy and sell ₹1,00,000 of shares once each. The options trade buys premium worth ₹50,000 and sells it for ₹60,000, with one lot per order. Amounts are rounded to the nearest paisa.

Options (₹50,000 buy, ₹60,000 sell)₹184.95₹184.95

Delivery is where they differ: Zerodha costs ₹55.46 less on the ₹1,00,000 round trip. Intraday and options come out the same at these sizes because both cap brokerage at ₹20 per order. Angel One’s AMC after year one (₹240 + GST a year) is slightly below Zerodha’s ₹300 + GST, which narrows the gap a little for long-term holders. On smaller intraday orders Zerodha’s 0.03% is below Angel One’s 0.1%.
